Well we had an adventurous day at the local fire department. We went on a parent escorted field trip through Will's preschool--St. Mary of Sorrows. We arrived at 10 a.m. sharp and were treated to a real live fireman coming down the fire pole. Fireman John continued the tour by showing a very informative video on what to do if you see matches or a lighter, how to stop, drop, cover and roll, how to crawl under smoke and finally what a fireman looks like in all of their gear. It was really cool since the kids got to practice everything and learn so much from the experience. By far the best trip to a firehouse we have ever had. Here's a few fun pictures from our day.
