Girls' Weekend in Salt Lake City

I went out for a little R&R and to catch up with some of my dearest friends.  The weekend went by fast, but it was the best getaway ever.  I started my weekend out with a walk around Daybreak's Lake and then shopping at The Gateway, dinner at Cucina Toscana...followed by a night at the Little America.

After dinner we enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor heated pool at the Little America and a little more wine and girl talk.  The next moring we celebrated Tina's 35th birthday with breakfast and then headed back to Daybreak.  On my last day in Utah I visited Early Light Academy, a charter school I helped develop, and I also checked on our house.  While I was away Ernie and the kids had a great time at soccer games, making cupcakes for my birthday and an outing to Rascal's a kid-friendly play place.  Thanks to my wonderful husband for sending me away for a little weekend getaway.
