We hope this letter finds your family happy, healthy and well this holiday season.
This year our ADVENTURES took our family all around the mid- Atlantic and into the Northeast. We have quite a few memories to share with you.
One of our favorites: KAYAKING in DELAWARE:
We also visited NYC a few times, Fairfax, Virginia, the Nation's Capital, Danbury/Kent/Milford and Compo Beach, Connecticut, Poconos Mountains, West Point, New York, Cape May, New Jersey, Ocean City, Maryland, Rehoboth, Delaware and a few other spots along the way.

Ernie is still with Exel Logistics as an Operations Manager and was able to move over to the first shift so he is home a lot more. He also joined the Connecticut Air National Guard 103 AOG and is currently waiting for all of his paperwork to clear. The major hopes to be sworn in sometime in May. He's very excited to be back in military again even if only part-time.

Jodi continues to keep everything moving smoothly around the house; keeping the kids on track with their studies and extracurricular activities. She started a new career this year as well, and can now be found a few days a week in the pool teaching children to swim and swimming with the local masters team. She also spends a few hours a week in the kids' classrooms and stays busy training for sprint triathlons which she'll complete in summer 2011.
Josephine continues to excel at everything she does including academics, music and sports. She loves the fourth grade and started playing the violin this year in her school's orchestra. She spent her ninth birthday celebrating in style with Mom in NYC. While in the city we enjoyed Mary Poppins on Broadway, shopping on 5th Ave and brunch at American Girl. Josephine swam for the Sharks over the summer and attended Camp Mosey Wood in the Poconos with her fellow Girl Scouts. In the fall Josie learned to play field hockey and became a Girl Scout junior. She is also swimming this winter and hopes to earn lots of ribbons on swim team. Oh, and she got braces too.
William loves first grade, spelling, math, and counting how many letters are in each word. He's eager to go to school each day and loves gym and lunch too. William turned six this year and celebrated with a LEGO themed party. He played soccer, swam on the Sharks and attended a soccer camp over the summer. Most days William can be found building LEGO creations and shooting his Nerf gun in his homemade firing range. He became a Cub Scout tiger this fall and earned his Bobcat award. He loves soccer and swimming and is taking swim lessons to perfect his free and back and learn butterfly and breaststroke. He's also looking forward to playing lacrosse on an instructional league this spring.
Our furry children: Cleo the cat is almost four and continues to entertain the dog on a daily basis and her favorite activity is kicking the dog off of his bed. Theo turned five this year and everyone still asked if he's 10, because of his distinguishing gray beard. He loves walks to Lockridge Park, play dates at Cold Nose Lodge and chasing Cleo around the house.
Merry Christmas to everyone we are so thankful to have such wonderful friends and family in our life and all over the world. A special thanks to our proud military members and their families for your continued sacrifices. Please stay safe and hurry home.
Warmly Yours,
~Ernesto, Jodi, Josephine, William, Theo and Cleo~
