A Color Blast
Josie turned "11" this month and celebrated with a party all her own....she found the idea in her American Girl magazine and she made it her own. She was so excited to spend the evening hanging out with a few of her close girlfriends. We had so much fun making the dot inspired invitations using pencil eraser heads and colorful stamp pads....
The theme continued from there with treat jars full of jelly beans and M&M's with dotted name tags. We also made tie-dye cupcakes and tie-dye t-shirts using sharpie markers and rubbing alcohol.
We used a tie dye tablecloth and hung it on the wall with Josie's handmade pom pom decorations to create a photo booth background. Then we scoured the house for fun photo booth props for her friends.
They posed and took photos, played kickball and monkey in the middle, ate pizza, put hair wraps in, created t-shirts and watched movies until they were out for the night.....and in the morning they enjoyed fruity pebbles.....
