Sergio and Patty's Wedding

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Muro

Sergio and Patty met and fell in love while at Cornell University, Patty's cousin Ana introduced them to each other at a Law School social... that's where their love affair began, and on July 24th, their marriage.

Family and friends from all over the world...Argentina, France, Panama, Nicaragua, Columbia, Mexico, Arkansas, California, Massachusetts, Texas, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Florida descended on Northern Virginia for their beautiful nuptials.

They were married in a romantic botanical garden called Meadowlark in Vienna, Virginia amongst beautiful trees, flowers and flowing streams. Sergio's groomsmen were friends from college and brothers and Patty's bridesmaids were sisters and friends from high school and college. Josie was a beautiful flower girl and Will, a very handsome ring bearer.

Sergio and Patty were married on a terrace at the gardens overlooking a beautiful field of flowers and trees. Patty and Papi came up the aisle to Canon in D, Pachelbel. Their marriage vows were beautiful and eloquent, and the reading, a poem from Pablo Neruda: Soneto XVII (I do not love you...) was so romantic it brought a few of us to tears.

Now of course this was a Carcamo wedding so right after the exchange of vows and cocktail hour the dance floor was packed. The toast, food and wedding cake were all wonderful and the night had so much energy and fun it will not soon be forgotten.

Uncle Sergio and Aunt Patty are headed to Argentina today to begin their lives together, and we wish them happiness and luck as they journey through life together.
