Mario and Chinatown in Philly

Another collected adventure to the great city of Philadelphia.  Ernie and the kids visited the Pennsylvania Convention Center for some video game fun and I strolled the streets of Chinatown and enjoyed some authentic Asian food.

The Nintendo booth was for sure the highlight of the kids day.  They played new games and got lots of free swag from Nintendo and the other vendors.

While the big and little kids played I had some fun on my own.  I strolled through Philly's Chinatown and enjoyed a delicious authentic meal and visited a bazaar and a fish market.

I bought some beautiful chopsticks at the bazaar and people watched along the streets of Chinatown.  afterwards I met back up with Ernie and the kids at the Reading Terminal Market.  One of America's oldest and largest public markets, housed since 1893 in a National Historic Landmark building.  The market offers farm fresh produce, meats, cheeses, spices, baked goods, flowers, kitchenware and dining choiced that are both regional and international. Ernie enjoyed a famous Philly cheesesteak and the kids had some ice cream.

We didn't make it to the Museum of Art this trip...we'll have to run up those steps and yell like Rocky later as we continue our excellent adventures along the East coast.
