Thanksgiving Eve we decorated pumpkin gingerbread men and butterflies.
We spent the holiday break in our home enjoying each others company and eating lots of yummy food, and we also got a nice surprise.
We were taking Theo for his morning walk on Thanksgiving and it started to snow. The kids put on their snow clothes and took their new sleds out for the first time. They spent the morning playing in the snow and and building a snow man.
Next, we ate a delicious meal of glazed spiral ham, potatoes au gratin, green beans with bacon vinaigrette, rolls, strawberry delicious salad, stuffing and pumpkin pie.
As if the holiday couldn't get any better...Ernie's parents and grandmother came up on Saturday and spent the day with us. We had brunch out and made a gingerbread village.
On Sunday we took a hike at one of our favorite spots and finished up the break with a stroll through Bethlehem's historic city. The decorations are up and the Christmas city is decorated with over 200 live Christmas trees. We are planning on going back in December to enjoy a live Nativity, Live Advent house, and the Putz.
