The Monday morning after...

Well Ernie returned home Sunday morning a very tired man from the SACC. He feels like the conference went well and is anxiously awaiting news from several companies. We will let everyone know what's going on as soon as we know:).

Ernie enjoyed his trip out to D.C. he was able to see his parents, his sister Patty and her boyfriend Sergio and his grandmother. The kids and I missed him this weekend, but everything carried on as normal around the house.

I was awakened at 8:30 a.m. Sunday by Josie carrying a plate with two pieces of undercooked bacon and lots of hot grease...luckily she made it to me without spilling the hot grease onto herself or Will. She also brought me a bowl of cereal and a blueberry muffin. I was so touched by her desire to make me breakfast in bed. She was so worried about it and even told me that she wished "Daddy was home to help her." She is such a big girl now and she did it all by herself. She also brought me a bunch of pictures and letters she made for me telling me how much she loves me. It's moments like that when you realize how wonderful it is to be a parent. Oh it was so sweet. Will was feeling a little left out so he went upstairs and got the LEGO creation we made together on Friday and gave it to me he was so funny. He crawled into bed with me that morning to snuggle before Josie arrived with breakfast. He's such a sweet little boy when he wants to be.

I am so blessed to have the kids and Ernie and am excited about our next adventure.

The picture is Mother's Day last year...we were so busy yesterday we didn't take a picture. We went for a long walk with Callie to the lake and cooked hamburgers on the grill...fun, fun, fun!!!
