We headed up to Sundance for a quiet hike in the beautiful Wasatch front. We started out with lunch at the Sundance Deli--so delicious. Then browsed the Sundance Store and looked at all the cool clothes and beautiful jewelry. We then headed out to the rustic grounds of Sundance. The area is amazing you sorta forget that you are 30 minutes from a major city as you stroll amongst the Aspens and the fast moving streams. We bought tickets on the chair lift and headed up the mountain. We took in beautiful waterfalls and snow capped mountains. We hiked around the area and then headed back down ready for a cup of hot chocolate. Yes, it's Memorial Day weekend, but it was a crisp 50 degrees in the mountains. Luckily I married an Eagle Scout you know the motto "Always be prepared" and we were wearing pants, long sleeves and even light jackets. I had to giggle at the other people on the chair lift freezing to death in their shorts. I think they were from Mississippi.
All and all it was a beautiful day spent in the most amazing area of Utah. I must say we are ready to leave Utah, but will never forget its beauty.
