Heading East

After a long eight weeks of interviewing and more interviewing Ernie has accepted an offer at a company called Exel Logistics. Exel is a third party logistics company that warehouses for companies like Home Depot, William Sonoma, Johnson & Johnson and many other large companies. Ernie will train as an operational manager for 12-18 months at the Breinigsville, PA warehouse that handles Home Depot inventory. He is very excited about this opportunity and is anxious to start working.

The kids and I are excited about the move and are looking forward to being close to Ernie's family and all of the historical sites within a few hours. We will be 1 hour North of Philly and 1.5 hours west of NYC. We will also be three hours North of D.C.

Our packers will be here next week and then we plan to start our 3 day drive to Virginia. We will househunt in August and the kids will stay with Ernie's family and have some fun with their grandparents.

We have been in Utah a little over 2 years and have made some really great friends and we will miss everyone so much. However, we are looking forward to being back east and hope to catch up with friends and family that will now be much closer to us.

We hope that this post finds you and your family well. We will update the blog as much as we can and journal about our next adventure.

We are anxious to tell everyone in person so enjoy the video.
