Well you would think we were on the East coast...we traveled through 4 states today (Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio). Callie can add two more states to her long list of "been there, done that." Cleo five and counting.Well we are staying the night in Fremont, Ohio just east of Toledo along Lake Erie.
Today we crossed the Mississippi River and crosses into Illinois. I told Josie all about Mark Twain and the river and the river boats and I pretty sure she got it.
I am a proud mother she has only watched one movie since we hit the road and has been occupying her time with much more brain stimulating activities like art, reading and well just sightseeing.
We brought along a kids atlas and she has been learning all about the states we are passing through.
Well we head to Virginia tomorrow and will go through Pennsylvania on the way...
Mimi, Papi, grandma and cousin cats here we come.
Callie and Cleo can't wait to meet their cousins. BTW Callie enjoyed testing the beds.

Oh, we miss you! It's just not the same having your house look so quiet. Good for Josie keeping that sharp mind stimulated along the way, good job Jodi!
